1 No Surprise bills! Even if you go over your monthly allowance, the most you will pay in excess is $30.00 for the month (10c/MB after 100MB) Your speed will be shaped to 64k/64k once you have reached the $30.00 excess cap.
2 All other plans enjoy Speed Shaping - The choice is yours! The monthly allowance specified in the table simply tells you how much you can download at your chosen speed (256k, 512k, 1.5Mb or 8MB). Once you have reached your allowance you can still download, just at a reduced rate of 64k/64k. This is called 'Shaping'. Uploads are not counted towards your monthly quota but will be shaped once your monthly quota has been reached. Remember the Westnet Neighbourhood traffic feature (Premium accounts only) and all uploads are free for all accounts and are not subject to speed shaping.
Don't want to be shaped? You can simply opt to pay $6/GB of data should you wish to download at full speed at all times.

| ISDN Internet Connection | |||||||
| If you cannot gain access to broadband ADSL then ISDN is for you. Westnet ISDN is avaliable at 64k and 128k. To connect to Westnet ISDN you need to convert your telephone line into an ISDN digital line. The digital line offers two 64k channels, which means that when you purchase a Westnet ISDN service you can connect to the internet at 64k while talking on the phone on the other channel. If you wish to connect at 128k, you will require a 128k Westnet ISDN account that will engage both of the channels. | |||||||
